Welcome to our first year of competition

Build Smart Challenge

For Grades 7 – 12

Middle and high school students will enter the world of racing through STEM. You’ll work to build and code your own micro-kart for the big race in this year’s competition!

z Prize Competition

For Grades 11 – 12

High school Juniors and Seniors will compete to deliver a business idea. You’ll utilize the elements within STEM to piece together your proposal that answers this year’s theme question.

More Registration Details

Registration for the Build Smart Challenge opens February 1, 2022 on a first come, first serve basis.  Registration is now closed.

Registration for the Z Prize Competition will be announced at a later date.

More Course Details

There will be five meetings for the Build Smart Challenge. Meetings will be held at AxiaTP’s headquarters (10555 Group 1001 Way, Zionsville, IN 46077) from 5:30 – 7:30 PM EST.

More Competition Details

Race Day and Z Prize competitions will both be held on Saturday, June 25 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM EST. Prizes will be awarded same day.
